I take this opportunity to thank the whole RAR team, its partners, friends, who make contributions all year long.

RAR has known a very nice progress in 2011. The launch of the EVEN model fills the gap we had between the stock alloy TEMPO and the high-end stock carbon wheels. 
You were many to come to our booth during the exhibition show in Paris to see.
2011 also has been the year we renewed the graphics on our wheels, which then gained character.
Not only the graphics were renewed the last year, the high-end carbon models were also deeply upgraded. Indeed we now use more, stronger, stiffer, more aerodynamic rims.
Finally, we also offer a new option for the most special hub sets designed for straight pull spokes. These SP Sapim Cx-ray spokes are now available in paint coated red and white colors.

Close to the end of the year holidays, Santa Claus' daughter is generous...

Through our Facebook account, she proposes a game where the winner will receive an RAR titanium quick release !

EVEN - 50mm

This is the big 2012 new. We named it EVEN because it is a versatile wheelset featuring a pretty good balance.  EVEN makes a lot of sense into our range. It is a performant, reliable and laterally very stiff wheelset.
Its rims have been made according to our specifications with a special 3K twill weave. The complete wheelset, built from this aerodynamic 50mm deep rim is only 1280g. 20 front DT Swiss Aerolite spokes and 24 DT Swiss Competition spokes make it very reliable and rigid. These components are laced to RAR hubs made by Tune. A 38mm deep rim is available as option.

Stock EVEN wheelset is 1499€ VAT included, with the complete accessories package: padded RAR wheelbags, titanium RAR quick releases, RAR valve extenders, brake pads.

SVELT - 32mm
OPTIMAL - 46mm 

In a second time, OPTIMAL and SVELT are strengthened, stiffened, and offer a higher durability. Their 2012 rims are reinforced with a 3K weaved carbon fiber at their external diameters and their brake tracks.
This feature allows, along with the use of the new Reynolds Cryo brake pads, a significant braking heat diffusion improvement. This contributes to the overall resistance of the wheelset.
These new rims also feature a small carbon shoulder between the sidewalls and the spokes. This small lip improves aerodynamic performances: drag is reduced and lateral wind sidewall forces are lowered.
SVELT and OPTIMAL still spin with DT Swiss spokes laced to the RAR hubs made by Alchemy and Tune.

Our OPTIMAL-46mm clincher wheelset now is also available in 650c at the same price as the 700c clincher version, to know 2399 euros VAT included, accessories package included.

Tubulars versions are available in 700c at 2299 euros VAT included, accessories package included.

MAGNUM - 66mm

On its side, MAGNUM receives a special set of decals that better suits its depth. Tubular tire version of MAGNUM is 1310g.
A new super aerodynamic 81mm depth rim is available in option as well. This new deeper rim will work extremely well for triathlon, time-trials, strong riders, tandems because it provides a very high stiffness, some momentum of inertia and amazing aero properties. This 81mm MAGNUM wheelset weights 1530g for tubulars and 1730g for clinchers.

TEMPO - 27mm

Our alloy stock model TEMPO keeps its great mechanical qualities. Its main assets are: resistance, reliability, lateral stiffness and low inertia. It rolls with the same RAR hubs made by Alchemy/Tune as these used for the top wheels. Weight is 1380g on digital scale. A tubular 25mm deep version is available as well as a 650c version, 1340g each pair, both available at the same price: 849 euros VAT included, accessories package included.
